New 3mp Sony Handycam
has unveiled a new camcorder that weighs less than a pound and easily fits into a pocket or purse. The DCR-PC350 MiniDV Handycam features a 3.31-megapixel, single CCD, offering a high quality combination of video and still camera optics. The new unit will come with a Handycam Station -- a tabletop cradle for charging and connecting to a TV or computer. The Handycam's color filter employs a new image processing technique for converting brightness more naturally. It will be available in September for about $1,300.
