BUG.tv today released a new version of its . The video server software is designed for closed-circuit television. Version 2.0 adds PAL support in addition to the previously supported NTSC standard. ListPlayer is intended for closed-circuit television systems such as those used in department stores and educational institutions. Designed to support any QuickTime file, users can quickly transform a G4- or G5-based Mac into a video server by adding any Firewire DV-to-Analog converter. ListPlayer Express offers realtime and sequential triggering of events as well as manual trigger with the mouse. Until July 15, ListPlayer is available with a $50 rebate, for $350.
