    Don't sweat it

That law will be... er.. REVISED before anyone gets to collect it. There are too many people against it for it to be implemented. Give them a few months, so the state legislature can get back in session.

    Well...

One could consider this punishment for the STUPID law that Florida voters passed to limit class sizes. The article says that tax would more than likely go toward building schools, which would be needed if the class size law remains in effect. As always happens, the people want the state to spend money, but don't want to provide the money from their pockets.

    Potty Tax

They already tax how many potties you have! It is calculated in your property assessments and is used for calculating property and school taxes!

    I hope...

Apple follows suit. I don't really care about the .mac 15MB email storage limit (I have been way over for quite a while now, and have yet to receive a notice or message telling me I need to delete some stuff), but if they would at least increase Homepage's storage to 250MB, I will be VERY happy.

    Another shining example

of the creative steps fiscally irresponsible politicians will go to to get more money from the taxpayer. Someday, Americans will wake up and say, "enough is enough" to these politicans who don't have a freakin' clue of how to run a state/country and vote them out of office. Until that day comes, I'll just keep my headphones on and listen to iTunes so I don't have to hear all the whimpering.

    iDisk

Personally I'd appreciate it if they continued to improve iDisk performance... For it to be as slow and unresponsive as it has been is shameful... the built in WebDAV client in Windows is faster at accessing my iDisk than Mac OS X. Sheesh. And there are alternative iDisk clients for OS X that blow the Finder away in responsiveness... c'mon apple... I pay $99 for this?

    Stupid laws?

How about that repugnant senator Brownback, the jesus freak from Kansas, attaching the anticonstitutional bill allowing million dollar fines to individual broadcasters for "indecency", to a military appropriations bill, thus getting it passed 99-1? Not even Kerry had the balls to vote against it. Our government is really whacked.
