Well the digital radio thing is interesting. I have Sirius and, one, I would never even be bothered to go to the trouble to record, convert, trim, and type meta data. Second, the quality is far from CD-quality, and I do know that even the digital FM stations still have FM attributes, Sirius, with its own receiver, still has digital artifacts because they compress there streams just a tad too much and I know XM is the same way. Anyone who wants a song would be much more likely to rip a cd, which can be queried with CDDB, and ripped directly to a file without any of the other inconveniences the other ideas pose. The RIAA is just going to keep adding things for some BS "protection" that in the end will hurt us and everything we as Americans stand for, FREEDOM (to do what we want).
