Parasolid for Mac OS X
UGS PLM Solutions recently announced that it has created a Mac OS X version of , its 3D geometric modeling component software to Mac OS X. Announced in early April 2004 at COFES 2004. "Parasolid provides the geometric modeling foundation for many of the world’s leading computer-aided design, manufacturing and engineering analysis (CAD/CAM/CAE) applications. UGS PLM Solutions develops Parasolid, uses it throughout its product development applications and licenses it to independent software vendors (ISVs)." Version 6 with Mac OS X support was slated to ship at the end of April 2004.
