Apple releases iTunes 4.6


Apple today released , which includes support for playing your music wirelessly using AirPort Express with AirTunes. It also includes a number of other minor enhancements. It is available via the Mac OS X Software Update. Apple first announced iTunes 4.6 on Monday and said that it would be available this week.

    They say there's minor tweaks. Well, what are they? I don't have airport express, so should I care?

    No Windows Version Yet

    There isn't a Windows version yet...so I have to wait to update until I get home. :-(

    My bad, there's a Windows installer on Apple's site, but if you check for iTunes updates from within iTunes for Windows, it says that 4.5 is the current version.

    I wouldn't hold my breath. Can you imagine how big that thing would have to be? Until they find a different way of cooling those chips, forget it.
