Just one question
Even though this does not affect me directly, I just have to say, where the h*** is the iTunes Canadian store? That should have been up a long time ago. C'mon, our neighbors in the Great White North deserve legal downloads too!

Better late than never
How Napster was able to getinto the european and canadian markets so quickly I have no idea but at least itunes will be there to compete in the european one now. I have a feeling that thhe canadian one will sonn follow. I wouldn't be surprised if at the wwdc they annouce that the librbay goes to 1 mill songs.
One thing that I see Apple doing smartly with itunes is the hunting down of unrealeased catalogs and songs. I have already found songs on Itunes that I have searched for for years on CD.

I think
the majority of people are dumbfounded that apple FINALLY came out with something they should have had a few years ago. More like a "breathe a sigh of relief" then a "jumping up and down".
I think I speak for everyone on here when I say iTMS IN EUROPE - IT'S ABOUT FSCKING TIME!
