Lacie-Roxio dual-layer DVD
today announced the first comprehensive double layer DVD authoring solution for the Mac. Lacie's DL DVD+/-RW will be capable at writing to both single layer (4.3GB) and double layer (8.5GB) recordable DVDs at speeds of up to 4x, as well as to CD-RW and CD-RW formats. The drive will sell for $250 when it ships in June, and will include a full version of Roxio's Toast 6 Titanium software.
