LogOutScreenSaver 2.0 adds new options

updated 10:45 am EDT, Fri May 28, 2004

LogOutScreenSaver 2.0

($10) is a screen saver module that will automatically log a user out after being idle for a user defined time. "When the screen saver gets activated you will see a black screen with a warning message and a countdown timer. When the timer reaches zero, the user is either logged off or brought back to the login screen via Apple's Fast User Switching." Version 2.0 adds an admin-configurable timer, audible alert settings, configurable warning messages, and the ability to add your own logo, lock the System's Screen Effects Preference Pane, preview customizations, export settings, and more. A demo is expected next week.
