First, they try to liken this to Gator, which sounds like a large stretch, since Gator was/is installed secretively when installing some other product, and then basically hijacked your web browser to show ads it was paid to show you, vs. the ads that the web-site's advertisers paid to show you.
Second, don't expect this for MacOS X at any time. These types of things tend to be windows only.
