Iomega adds two entry-level NAS servers

Iomega NAS servers


today announced two new entry-level network attached storage (NAS) servers: the Iomega NAS 200d Series 240GB and Iomega NAS 200d Series 360GB servers. Expected to ship next month, the NAS servers feature Microsoft's Windows Storage Server 2003 software for data management, RAID 1 or 5 data protection, SATA-based drives for better performance, four USB 2.0 ports, a single UltraSCSI 320 port (only on the 360GB version), and support for mixed computing environments, including Windows, Mac, Linux UNIX and Netware. The Iomega NAS 200d Series 240GB has a list price of $1,200, while the 360GB version is $1,800.
