    Stupid marketing c***

    Your W Wired Package includes:

    -High Speed Internet Access
    -Wi-Fi Access in Living Room*
    -3 iTunes music downloads
    -3-month WIRED magazine subscription
    -Unlimited local and toll-free calls
    -Plus, Wonderful accommodations you'll love

    Terms & Conditions

*Wi-Fi Access is not included as part of the package

How can they get away with saying "Your package includes" and then say something on the list is "not included".

That's like Ford saying a Taurus comes with a "Lifetime supply of gasoline" then qualifying that "gasoline is not part of the package."

    It's c***.

It is silly, but just for clarity, the asterisk is really referring to list of locations on the right. For those places with the *, WiFi Access is not part of the package. In the Terms & Conditions it says, "Wi-Fi Living Room access will not be included in the package for the following properties:  W Seattle, W Los Angeles-Westwood, W New Orleans-French Quarter, and W Silicon Valley."
