IBM Lotus Workplace app

IBM's forthcoming software will offer corporations a server-based application environment that allows "thin clients" on company desktops to run free software from the open-source project OpenOffice.org, including a word processor, spreadsheet and presentation software. The Workplace software will first be available for Windows and Linux, while a version for the Mac will be released later this year. according The New York Times.
