iZotope to bring audio plugins to Mac OS X

Audio plugins for Mac OS X

has announced Mac OS X support for its entire line of professional audio plug-ins. The plug-ins will be available in Pro Tools, MAS, Audio Unit, and VST formats in the third quarter of 2004. iZotope's line of 64-bit effects systems including Ozone (analog modeling, $300), Trash (distortion plugin, $200), Spectron (spectral processing, $100), and Vinyl ("vinyl" simulation", free) currently support all Pro Tools 6.1+ (HTDM, RTAS, AudioSuite), VST, and DirectX host applications on Windows.
