    TOOLS ARE STILL THERE!

Go to the main Support page and select "Airport & Airport Extreme" from the Portables/Wireless pull-down to go to the main Airport Support page. There, in the "Resources" area in the rightmost column you'll find a link to the Management Tools that still works properly.

If people'd spend a little time NAVIGATING THE SITE instead of just copying and pasting the same broken URL around everywhere, maybe this wouldn't have been blown out of proportion...

(And as to the "lost signal strength" - try this: go into the Airport Admin Utility, choose the particular base station, press the "Show All Settings" button and then choose "Wireless Options..." on the AirPort form. Try setting the Transmitter Power to 30 or 31 mW and restart the base station. Then go BACK IN to the admin utility, go to the same form, and set the Transmitter Power back to 32mW and restart again. I saw some momentarily lower signal levels initially when I applied the updates, but I'm right back at my original strength now)
