Popwire debuts Ingestion Engine for Mac OS X

Ingestion Engine for OS X


encoding products earlier this week. Ingestion Engine can capture any kind of video feed, from tape or from live sources, acting as both an ingestion server and a play-out server. Other highlights include on-demand digitizing of tape and automated retrieval of archived clips, as well as connectivity with Popwire's Compression Engine. It will ship in the third quarter of this year and can be used in conjunction with off-the-shelf hardware and a high-quality capture card.
