Apple's iTunes nominated for three Webby Awards

iTunes up for Webby Awards


Apple's iTunes Music Store has been nominated for three times for the , sites undergo a rigorous six-month, three-tiered process to win the coveted Webby Award." The criteria include Content, Structure and Navigation, Visual Design, Functionality, Interactivity, and Overall Experience. The winners will be announced online May 12, 2004.

    Was wondering about the same thing. After all, you only use the web once if aou want to access iTMS: To download the app. By this reasoning any app that is publicly available (and maybe uses some proprietary ip-based protocol to communicate with a server or other clients) should potentially make it into the race.

    The Webby awards web site clearly states: The Academy evaluates _Web sites_ based on six criteria
