There is "a cabal of , which clones the distinctive Mac OS X dock in Windows. Then he found a bunch of OS X-like icons, including iPhoto and iMovie icons to replace the My Pictures and My Movies folders. "Throw in iTunes and Firefox and you have a whole new OS experience," he wrote on his blog.

    This guy might might help

Since he's an insider there maybe he can help some of us on corporate Windows networks. Here's what I put on his blog:

Hey, since you work @ MS, can you PLEASE tell those folks in the Mac BU to do something about the lack of a native MAPI client for Mac OS X?????

This business of running Outlook 2001 in Classic to talk to our Exchange server via MAPI is really irritating. The folks in IT (we're in a large national bank) will not enable SMTP, OWA and IMAP because "its a security risk". Leaves us totally out in the dark.

BTW, I'm not the only one with this beef. LOTS of people have to live with MAPI.
