PowerSchool SIS 2004
Apple's division today announced the availability of PowerSchool SIS 2004. The upgrade to the Web-based student information system includes more than 100 new features, such as walk-in scheduling automation, increased flexibility and usability for meeting NCLB requirements, streamlined reports, and state specific special compliance enhancements. PowerSchool SIS 2004 is scheduled to ship June 25, 2004; interested districts should contact Apple directly for pricing information.

...not to be picky, but powerschool doesn't even mention this release in their news section. i assume macnn got SOMEthing official about this release. and unless this version of powerschool is the long-awaited version that allows for school districts larger than 10,000 students, it's still a niche product that unfortunately won't take any marketshare away from the 800 lb. gorilla Blackboard (which i worry microsoft will buy in the near future... i have no insider info, just a bad feeling in the pit of my tummy).
