    Thanks CheMrt

A public thanks for trying it and posting helpful feedback (apparently rare these days).

    No probs 14" iBook

No problems so far on 14" iBook and 17" iMac. Just a security update but at least it doesn't break anything that was already working...

    I'm bummed

This update doesn't seem to make my machine any snappier. I haven't had any issues as of yet either. I've only had it running for 20 minutes though.

If you don't hear back from me, it's because I pressed the power button to put it to sleep, and it never woke back up...

    Shills

Cleazrly NN is a not a "news" site but mere shills for apple. They released security updates at the same time for Panther AND Jaguar. Jaguar still has 80% of the X installed base. But all you read here is that it's ONLY for Panther. Implying that if you don't cough up 130 bucks, you ain't getting those secirity updates that are all the rage these days.

    Nice bunch of shills.

the 10.2.8 update doesn't include the same patches as Panther. Therefore, they are separate and differnet.

And where are you getting this bogus 80% number?

But you're right on the shill part. When was the last time they posted anything about OS 9?????
