Eovia ships Amapi 7 Pro 3D modeling application

Amapi 7 Pro 3D


Eovia today began shipping , its NURBS 3D modeling application that features drafting, conception and engineering-compliance functions. It features a comprehensive NURBS engine, supports polyhedral high-level models, includes Amapi Designer 7's advanced functions, and offers conceptual design functions with support for IGES, DWG or STL file formats. Version 7 includes advanced OpenGL and realtime 3D display engines, new interface concepts, surface/volume NURBS modeling, new "Manifold Volume" construction and "Connecting Surfaces" tools, NURBS Filleting, NURBS Boolean Operators, generalized dynamic geometry, professional import/export modules, and advanced support for the MicroScribe Digitizer. The $800 application runs on Mac OS X.

Other new features of Amapi 7 Pro include: Dynamic drawing assistants, extended Scene Tree-views, improved user interface, totally modifiable interface colors, a full tool palette display mode, curve projection onto NURBS surfaces, isoparametric line extraction, and more.



Upgrades from Amapi v6 are $430, while upgrades from Amapi Designer 7 are $330. Sidegrades from Carrara Studio 2 or 3 to Amapi 7 Pro are $430.
