    Good news!

Lots of people will be happy today with the announcement.

Wonder how hot they will be?

    What's Next?

Ah! Can new G5s be far behind?

    Next question:
    Where are the G5 PowerBooks?

    More Fed Up

I'll do you one better - I'm heading back to TRS-DOS on my trusty TRS-804P.

Woo-hoo! Screaming along on both 5-1/4" floppies with a full 256K or RAM!

"Ah! Can new G5s be far behind?"

Yes. Xserve has priority, and if Apple is struggling to provide them, you can bet the New G5 is at least a month away. There is one way Steve can stick to the 3GHz in 1 year time frame though...he can ANNOUNCE it before the year runs out.

    "Next question:

Behind the pink elephant. O.K. fine, it will be announced before the end of the year.

Ummm, sorry, but the pink elephant isn't big enough to hide the new powerbooks, being that Longhorn is lurking behind it. Oh, and Motorola's own version of a G5 is back there too, somewhere. Probably hiding under that copy of Gershwin...
