    what a joke

if you look at the titles of the awards its as if they got paid by the vendors and then catered to the product...

the ipod mini is not a hard drive mp3 player... its flash, and better then that river thing

    And in the new category..

..of "Best iMac Product", the winner is the Apple iMac from Apple computers! (cheer cheer!) Who would have guessed that Apple would walk away with that one?

    Best Apple Notebook?

Pretty lame category. Looks like they gave it an award so the 12" wouldn't have to compete with the VAIO Z1 laptop. The 12" has better multimedia software, battery life, slot load Combo or super drive, and I could keep going.

    Just to clarify...

The iPod mini uses a Hitachi MicroDrive which is a hard disk in a CompactFlash form factor. They are not "flash connectors" and it certainly does NOT use "flash" memory.

    I thought so...

Apple and its products are considered by the main stream users as NOT a PC product. They have to create a new or should I say lame category to address the controversy. Anyway, at least its obvious that they can't simply ignore Apple milestone. Not bad for a "Niche" product.
Next time let's aim for the 50% of the market share. I bet Apple is sooo RIPE to do so.
