Liquid lens, Macromedia

Afternoon tech news: Philips said today it had invented a using "anonymous" prepaid SIM cards. ; Macromedia will soon begin tweaking its development tools to run on Linux PCs. Computer Associates has licensed The SCO Group Inc.'s Intellectual Property License for Linux, leaving some wondering what if anything was licensed, given that SCO's claims have yet to be tested in court.

    I bet Adobe will follow..

Macromedia's lead. In fact, with Linux gaining more market share than Apple I bet more software companies will focus their priorities to Linux. If so, are these Linux applications compatible with OS X? I really hate to see us Mac community left in the dark. (More delays and substandard version / upgrades.)
    What's the latest on Darwin?

    Linux apps vs OS X

I pretty much doubt if Linux apps are compatible with OS X especially since Linux apps runs under Intel based PCs. So unless the RISC processors becomes staple among non-APple PCs or Apple produces desktops using Intel processors, we could expect less and less support from software companies.
