Apple Store San Francisco

The New York Times has an article on the San Francisco Store opening this past weekend: "Apple officials estimated that about 1,200 people were in the line at the 10 a.m. opening, and that nearly 6,000 more passed through the store on Saturday...The store here, which has 10,800 square feet of selling space, is the fifth of the company's so-called flagship retail outlets, along with others in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Tokyo...In a way, of course, it was a commercial: the flagship openings are ."

    hard hitting reporting!

Wow....... wait a minute..... you're trying to tell me that Apple orchestrates these events to get good media coverage, and plans how things will happen? Man, that is incredible. Here I was just thinking that they were random events and that the media coverage was just coincedental. Wait a minute, next thing you're going to tell me that Macworld Expo is carefully orchestrated too?

Congradulations, NYT. You've just stumbled upon the most obvious story of the decade. Man, there should be an award for this kind of reporting. Nobody ever knew that companies do things to gain the public's interest. But it was there, all along! Thank you for pointing that out to us. The world is a much better place with reporters that step up to tell us what we already know.

    Dumbasses...

Congradulations, NYT. You've just stumbled upon the most ripest story of the decade. Man, there should be a ripe award for this kind of reporting. Nobody ever knew that ripe companies do things to gain the public's interest. But it was there, all along! Thank you for pointing that ripeness to us. The world is a much riper place with reporters that step up to tell us what we already ripened.
