keynote POS is barely worth $99 at this point... when you can get full featured office suite for less than that... and that apple is not even going to continue updating it.

Apple will continue to update keynote... and from what I hear apple stores are doing just fine. Apple didn't build these stores as major reveune sources.. they did it to improve the brand image and allow people to get exposed to the many thing we take for granted on our sweet machines...

Which 802.11x product out there offers USB connection on the base station? NONE other than Apple's base station.

Sure, Netgear's 802.11g is $50 after rebate, but you must have a network laser or network color inkjet in order to network it _without_ connecting it to a "server" computer.

Our family loves our wireless keyboard. The desks neater too. The touch on the keys is very nice. Plus the way the keyboard is designed, it is better at preventing damage when spills happen on it.

We will get a wireless mouse within the next 6-8 months.

The bluetooth keyboard and mice and great products that at least one person wound up getting in their bag. It doesn't mean that all bags got the same things; as one person got an iPod in theirs. Anyone who's ever used a bluetooth mouse verses an IR mouse knows how much more reliable the connection is.

Keynote is by far the best presentation program I have used. Not because it's Apple's product, but because it's capablities are beyond that of powerpoint. When you give professional presentations for a living, the last thing you want to show someone is the same old powerpoint presentation they're used to. Keynote allows me to create a presentation that is similiar to powerpoint, yet more professional and creative.

Generally I don't like to agree with all the negative stuff on these discussions, but it is true, the Keynote team was quietly laid off not too long ago... all the engineers and the marketing staff. My buddy was one of them. So, it is probably right that we've seen version 1.0 and only of Keynote.

I arrived there some time after 11:00am. By then, the line had dwindled to about a block and a half and was moving at a pretty good pace. I bought the book "Killer Tips" by Scott Kelby and got a free t-shirt (packed in a small box). Apple needs to start promoting healthy lifestyles, especially to the MS switchers who are likely the ones who smoke, eat meat, and even drive world-killing SUVs.

Apple should get the message out to these former MS users that Apple users are healthy - they eat vegetarian diets and don't smoke and , don't use up the world's ol supply and pollute the planet by driving SUVs and large cars.

If you professional life requires using Powerpoint to give presentations, you do have serious anger issues --- with Micro$oft. Sorry, but our current Dictato as you call him won legit as the Presidency has never been won on popular vote but on the Electoral College. Also every after election recount that was done sponsored by all kids of liberal publications showed that, Bush won the popular vote. Go figure.
