    Most satisfied? Well maybe, if you're not an iBook-with-borked-video owner.

    PC makers?...semantics

    all computers are PC's

    PC = personal computer

    i guess we all should really be saying "Windows computers" or something like that, to differentiate between different computers and the Mac.

    but hey, 12 points ahead of Dell ain't so bad!

    Now if

    They could bring jobs back to America and populate them with Americans, all the while keeping prices down, they would score a 100 in my book. I would be 100% satisfied.

    Cnet, part of Dell??

    Does Cnet work for Dell? The Cnet article sounds like a Dell press release. It has a Dell ad on it. And it says something like, yes, we have slipped, but we are still better than other pc companies because [insert whatever Dell would say in a press release], and, look, here are the wonderful experiences that some of our customers had. Cnet also provides some excuses for Dell: when the survey was conducted, Dell was attacked by computer worms; computer users in general are picky bunch anyway....

    Also, the LONG article only mentions Apple in one short sentence.

    Slightly offtopic

    Few weeks ago, an Apple rep contacted me at work and pointed out that the one year warranty on my iMac was about up, and asked if I would like to purchase AppleCare support to extend that warranty. I said, "No thanks." I was then asked to give a reason for not wanting AppleCare. I said, "Well, because I've never had a Mac that needed repairing. Or at least to the extent that I couldn't fix it myself." The response was, "Oh. Yeah, I guess you're right. Well, have a nice day."

    Heh.

    C/net = commedy channel

    Actually the article on C/net is a Dell press release. If you think the title should be "Apple has the best tech support" you're wrong. Where do u think u live? in Appleland.
    C/net is the tech commedy channel.

    BTW Their article on the most secure servers (see macnn) is really good. If u can find it of course.
