Mac.Ars: 64-bit computing

Eric Bangeman of Mac.Ars in the context of Apple's Power Mac G5. With no consumer 64-bit applications for Mac OS X, and no 64-bit version of Mac OS X on the horizon, Bangeman discusses why the marketing angle of 64-bits may be more significant than the computing muscle it has the potential to flex.

    Intel 128 bit processor

I have a 128-bit intel processor. At least I think that is how many pieces of it were scattered around my floor after I demolished it in favor of a mac.

    Reality Distortion Field

HYPE. Steve Jobs is the master of hype. OSX isn't even fully optimized for the G4 yet. Photoshop isn't either. How many years has it been? How many years before 64bit systems and software are a reality? If you believe that either platform is infallable, then you will miss many opportunities...
