He is one of the best celebratory advocates for the Mac. On a British TV show called Room 101 where you get to choose your heros and villans he picked Apple as one of his all time heros having used them for ages.
Nice choice of words: "freely available to subscribers on its Web site."
That makes everything "freely available" provided that you've paid for it. Hey, all the songs on iTunes are freely available to purchasers.
The problem with Disney's Board of Directors is that half of them are personal friends of Eisner, or people who in some way owe him a favor. That is, they owe their loyalty to him rather than to the company -- which utterly and completely defeats the purpose of having a Board of Directors. But then, they might as well let him continue to fail, until Disney is in such disarray that they can't deny the facts and investors start pulling their funding and stocks.
