    Once they are out there..

Once iPod minis are out there, the sales will begin to rise. From everything I have read, the impact of this product really can't be felt until you hold it in your hand. Even if you (or I) are not interested in a smaller iPod, plenty of people will be. Once they see them, they will buy them.

    Yep

Many people will once again will be wooed by apple's slick design and fork up money hand over fist for it, regardless of whether it's really a good value or not. It pisses me off, but hey, I guess that's just the way apple is.

    Re: iBuy

Just like Sony's hot new products ship in Japan first and then make their way to the U.S. and other parts of the world months later. Enough of the Euro whining, Apple is a U.S. company so obviously their products are going to ship in the U.S. first and then make their way to other parts of the world a couple of months later. Just deal with it...

Buddy, if it pisses you off that some people choose size and weight over extra capactity that they'll never use anyway, then you really need to get a life.

Canadians don't get the new iPods until April either. Who cares. Once April comes it'll be a moot point.

These mini-pods are just RIPE to fail completely. Apple will probably be able to sell 10-15 units

    Re: yep

No, he's pissed off because people will buy them and, as such, Apple won't be forced to sell them cheaper sooner than summer, so he'll have to wait to buy one.

Me, I'm pissed off people give money hand over fist to Lexus for their cars, but I guess that's just the way Lexus is.

Oh, and I don't know what c*** people are reading, but the mini is indeed (a) a good value, and (b) going to sell great.
