    How about closer to home?

    Like, say, Canada

Come one Apple, 50+ stores in the States, 1 in Japan, now 1 in Europe and nothing here? And you expect to *grow* your market share? HA!

    UK Store? COOL!

I'm from Edinburgh - A store here would be nice, but London is good enough for now. Whenever I'm in the city I'll visit. I'm sure many other Brits will have the same attitude. To be fair though, why aren't there any stores in Canada?

Well done Apple. We'd like to see a store in Scotland next please! And don't build it in Glasgow - it's a complete dump! Take it from me.

    "bout freakin' time

The lack of Canadian Applestores is mystifying but the lack of european ones was too. Ignroing a country is one thing, ignoring a continent is entirely another.

Going to Glasgow next week - I'll deceide then if its a dump. A bit worried though, accoring to Taggart its the murder capital of the UK!

    Hmmm...

If other Apple announcements are anything to go by, this store won't be open to non-US customers...

    Should we be excited?

This is going to be about a 5 minutes walk from John Lewis on Oxford Street - and to be frank Apple's policies suck in comparison. John Lewis will give you a two year no-quibble warranty as standard on all machines and they have no minimum dead pixel policy - if you aren't happy they'll swap the display.

Why would I want to shop at the Apple Store?

Can our North American friends let us know why they rate the stores so highly? I'd love to know.

    Best wishes,
    Mike.
