FWB resells Diskology hardware, offers other details

FWB resells Disk Jockey


), but is open to future licensing, parterships, or sale of the intellectual property of Hard Disk ToolKit and/or CD-ROM ToolKit. FWB also confirmed that is continuing development on (some of) its current products and other new products, but would not comment further on Mac OS X plans or other internal development projects: "We are looking into various ways to improve the company. Licensing software products (particularly system utilities), reselling innovative hardware solutions, and in-house development. A former HDT Project Lead is now in charge of development and will be in charge of current and upcoming projects," said Mark Hurlow, President of FWB.

    No respect

    Such a shame. HardDisk ToolKit was, at the verge of firewire, easily one of the most effective and dependable utilities for mounting and repairing external drives. Since then, its been nothing but a complete and utter mess.

    How da mighty have fallen

    FWB was once known for making great hard drives and disk utilities, having purchased SoftPC from Insignia, and great relationships with User Groups. Now, after the SoftPC/OSX fiasco and that eBay source code auction, it is simply just another whoring reseller.

    Please save what little dignity you have left and go the way of Casady and Greene - with class and style.
