    What was the pitch?

"Do you want to stay here and change the world, or do you want to come with me and sell fatty, non-nutritious food?"*

    * For the especially daft, this is a reference to Jobs' wooing John Sculley away from Pepsi.

    he has been fired

i wonder if the outgoing president of apple japan was actually fired by apple usa.
was it the direction that he was taking (or should i say, NOT taking) apple japan that frustrated apple usa?
it will be interesting whom they have selected as apple japan's top guy.
did it all come to head with the new apple store in ginza? this store is actually run by apple usa. it is not an apple japan store. much confusion. apple usa ginza physical store getting stock much earlier than apple japan website store getting stock to ship.
by the way, on any given weekend day, there are over 50 staff members on site on the selling floor of the new ginza store.

    Of course....

His first order of business as the new CEO will be to increase McDonald's sales of Apple Pies 500%.

    Anti-Semite

What ever happened to the extremely anti-Semitic McDonald's Japan chairman or CEO who wrote all those ridiculous books in Japanese about a supposed Jewish world conspiracy? That guy should have been shot, but like the anti-foreigner Tokyo governor, he was popular among Japanese, and people take whatever he says as truth, being unable to discern for themselves.
