GarageBand in politics

Though only available for less than a week, Apple's , creator of one of the Dean remix spoofs, notes that Rolling Stone is working on an article on GarageBand and the interesting timing between its release and the sudden appearance of so many Howard Dean remixes."

Much better stuff than that cheap-a** 10 minute paste-together GarageBand-produced bullshit.

    silly article title

I would hardly call this political. maybe 'personal attack' would be appropriate, but 'political statement' is just sad.

    Not very good quality

I agree that the Dean clips I've heard on the Internet are sort of silly to pay much attention to. Basically any audio application with the ability to cut and paste sound could be used to create them.

GarageBand is a much more powerful tool than these clips would let on. I hope nobody gets the wrong impression. More info on GarageBand at:

    This is not a politics

A quick and dirty looping with a few seconds of somebody's voice is not a political statement. Talking about issues like jobs, health care, civil liberties, the environment, and a foreign policy that regains our moral leadership around the world --- THAT'S a political statement.

(BTW, I'm guessing that this piece will have an avalanche of politically-based comments.....)

    Yo Mama

Political comments? Why would those be here?

And Dean? Heck anybody rather than Bush. I'd take yo mama before another term with Bush. Heck, maybe I'll just take yo mama.
