Intelli Innovations today released the , an optical wand that reads both printed text and barcodes into any Mac application. The complete OCR Pen Kit includes the USB pen with user-customizable buttons for inserting custom characters and switching fields. Also included are desktop inventory software, the company's "Collection" multimedia tracking software, asset tag generation software, and drivers for entering text into programs such as FileMaker Pro and Microsoft Word. It is available now for $350 (and requires Mac OS X 10.2 or later).
