MacDevCenter has posted a tutorial on , noting that Apple recently added support for S/MIME in the latest Mail version, the one that ships with Panther. The tutorial guides a user through obtaining a certificate, storing the certificate securely in Mac OS X's Keychain (using Mozilla), and both signing new message and receiving signed messages.
