The Pixel Farm has is a major release of The Pixel Farm's advanced tracking environment with over 250 new features, optimizations and UI enhancements. PFTrack now includes advanced Motion Capture functionality, colour keying for easy masking of green/blue screen shots, improved Shake support - with corner-pin script export and eleven new export formats for other 2D and 3D applications. The Motion Capture tools allow multiple views of a soft body (e.g., a face) to be tracked using simple markers. Also PFTrack 1.5 can now calibrate as little as one feature track in 3D.
The company says that a heavily optimized tracking and calibration core also offers a 30-50% increase in speed over version 1.1. PFTrack is available for $5000 for a full commercial license and for $75 (students/academic).
PFMatch is optimized for the G5 and is also designed to work with other Pixel Farm products, including a forthcoming 3D Geometry reconstruction application PFBarn.
