Analyst reaffirms 'buy' rating on AAPL

\'Buy\' rating on AAPL


Needham & Co analyst Charles Wolf has stock, and predicts a price target of $27, according to Macworld UK: "The Apple story has become analogous to a rich boy, poor boy story. The company is finally growing revenues at a material rate –- up 36 per cent in the first quarter and they should be up at least 20 per cent for the year." Wolf points out that margins are not rising in line with this growth, reflecting rising expenses, continued research and development spend and investment in extending the number of retail stores the company has."

    I had money to invest! I would by many shares in Apple, and I have never had such a good feeling about a company since
    Mark Andreesen, and the early days of the WWW.

    Charles Wolf is NOT a good analyst.

    The good analysts recommended AAPL last year when the price was $12-$17.

    Charles Wolf was not recommending buying AAPL at that time. He was recommending HOLD.

    Charles Wolf did not change his rating to BUY until AAPL was up to about $20.

    Hmm

    I see a pattern here. Analyst say hold or sell, Macnn zealots go "Boo, analysts are idiots." Analyst says buy, Macnn zealots go "Yea, analysts are good!"

    Why bother people? Apple can do no wrong in zealots eyes. [Shoot, I just critcized Apple, oh my goodness.]
