updated 01:05 pm EST, Fri January 16, 2004

Traktor FinalScratch 1.5

, which are expected to be resolved by the update.

The Mac version of Traktor FS 1.5 will also bring important optimizations
for use with Mac OS X 10.3 "Panther", giving FinalScratch "superior
performance and stability on Apple's latest operating system." Version 1.5 will also include the new "Key Correct" feature, which maintains the original pitch of a track independently from the playing speed. This feature is based on the time-stretching technology from Traktor DJ Studio 2.5 which guarantees audio quality. For optimal results, TRAKTOR FS 1.5 will offer three different algorithms from which to choose when running on a 600MHz or faster CPU.

The Traktor FS 1.5 update will be made available in February. For a limited time, it will be offered as a free download to all customers who purchased FinalScratch 1.1 after January 1st, 2004. The update will be available as a $50 direct download or for $70 on CD.
