Second Apple Store coming to Miami, Florida?

Apple may be bringing a second retail store to the Miami area (in addition to Apple Store The Falls), according to MacNN reader Pär Wännman: "When shopping at Aventura Mall, Miami the other day, I noticed that they have blocked off a large section in the north end of the store next to the soon to close Lord and Taylor department store....The blocked off area had the standard store signs for a new tenant saying Apple Computer coming soon, but no date or any Apple-designed signs anywhere." The mall's Website says that Apple was scheduled to open a store in 'November 2003.'

I noticed this a few months ago actually..
The Falls is WAY far away from the Aventura Mall. Even though Aventura is close to Miami, it doesn't mean it's in the "Miami Area."

Yeah well Aventura and The Falls are both equally far from Miami! I live in the City of Miami and it takes me 30-60 minutes to reach The Falls as well as Aventura, depending on traffic. Yeah I know I should be happy that we have an Apple Store close by, but it is not exactly in Miami. Apple could have placed a Store right that new expensive mall in Coral Gables, but then they may have put that little Apple vendor accross from UM out of business.

Anyway I can confirm this new Aventura Store, a friend of mine is in the running for the Apple Genius position!

I wouldn't have put an Apple Store at the new Village at Merrick Park. That place is all high class and the place is never really busy as far as I can tell and from what I hear. I have yet to actually go there. The location at Aventura in the mall right by the Food Court is a good location so everyone will probably pass by, unless of course they only went to the mall to goto AMC or Cheesecake Factory

We need an Apple presence in the Destin/Ft. Walton/Niceville area.. Hell, we don't even have any CompUSAs in the area... *Something*

I belive they should have an Apple Store at Countryside Mall in Clearwater. It is the busiest mall in pinellas county. It would be great to have them there instead of driving 30-45 minutes to get to Tampa. Also they could possibly build one at Citrus Park Town Center in Tampa or Westshore Plaza.
