    iDVD and DVD-burner?

Does anyone know with the new feature of archiving onto CD and transferring to a DVD-burning-capable Mac, do you just now only need a combo drive to install iDVD, and not the Superdrive?

    DVD for GarageBand

I would guess that based on the number of sound samples and loops, the installation disc is probably on a DVD. The copy of Soundtrack I got with Final Cut Pro 4 is the same deal.

    DVD

Both iDVD and GarageBand installers are ON DVD's. You need a DVD drive in order to be able to read the disk and install the software. Relatively simple.

    I think...

... that GarageBand has already prompted me to buy a new mac (and midi keyboard, iSight, etc., etc).

Hey, maybe this 'If you build the software, they will come' may actually work!?

Personally I can't sing so think Apple should allow me to type in a track that sings back allow with the other tracks (in key, etc.)

Not asking too much? (obvious sarcasm)

Can't wait to use it ... will we be actually hearing one man/one room bands on the radio in the future?

    Proving yet again...

That many of us Mac users are tools.
    God, you people are embarrassing.

    RE: WHAT THE f***

    Welcome to the uncivilized generation.

Momma said, if you cannot say something nice, just don't say it.

May the gray clouds be perpetually over your head, and whatever line you choose be the slowest line.

Then again, if your comments were in jest, your humor escapes me.
