iBooks to NH 7th graders

Seventh grade students in North Haverhill (NH) will soon as a part of a $1.3 million program. Some 600 seventh-graders and their teachers will receive laptops from the privately financed program. In Haverhill, the laptops will be used partly to connect seventh-graders with their peers across the country, to enable students to do online research and to enhance communication between home and school in a rural district that includes students from several towns.
