Apple releases Xserve RAID Admin Tools 1.2

Xserve RAID Admin Tools


Apple has released , which adds new features and improves the reliability for monitoring and management of your Xserve RAID, including slicing of RAID arrays, expansion of existing RAID arrays by adding drives, rebuilding/verification of RAID array parity data, Java 1.4.1 support, and more. Many of the new features in RAID Admin require the new firmware on Xserve RAID, according to the release notes.

  • Fixed possible RAID Controller hang under exceptionally high loads with small I/O transactions
