external drive. The compact drive features both a FireWire and a USB 2.0 port; it weighs less than a pound and measures 6"x5.5"x .75" inch. It offers 2x2x8x DVD-/+RW speeds along with 16x8x24x CD-RW speeds. EZQuest's drive includes a carrying case and a cable as well as Pixela IMX for encoding iMovies to MPEG 2 and burning DVDs, Charismac for burning CDs and DVDs, and Retrospect Express for scheduling automatic backups. The new Boa drive is $320, while a USB-only version is $300.
