Netgear launches Super Wireless Media Router

today unveiled its WGT634U Super Wireless Media Router, a "third-generation" 802.11g wireless home networking solution that supports network-attached storage (NAS) via a USB 2.0 interface. The device offers transfer speeds of 108Mbps--twice as fast as other 802.11g routers--using its 108 Mbps wireless networking technology and integrates a four-port 10/100 Mbps switch. It features a double firewall (both NAT and SPI), 64-bit and 128-bit WEP encryption, WPA PSK support, multiple VPN pass-through support, URL content filtering, and security logging with e-mail alerts. It is due in the first quarter for under $200.
