Iomega debuts new CD-RW/DVD-ROM combo drives

Iomega Combo drives


today announced two new CD-RW/DVD-ROM combination drives: the Iomega CD-RW/DVD-ROM Plus 7-in-1 Card Reader and the Iomega CD-RW/DVD-ROM External USB 2.0 Drive. Both feature 52x24x52x CD-RW technology along with an integrated 16x DVD reader. In addition, the integrated 7-in-1 card USB 1.1 reader supports most flash media types. Both include buffer under-run protection, offer 48x DAE (digital audio extraction), and have a 2MB hardware buffer. They include Charismac Discribe and Iomega's HotBurn Pro software and will ship in February for $130 each.
