    Porting issues

Is it just me, or does every other platform, regardless of processor, endian-ness, format, etc. get these games at the same time while it takes 4-6 months to get it on our platform (besides lack of funding or outright animosity to Macintosh users). Is it that hard to do a port, or is there something inherently difficult in writing programs for the MacOS (esp OSX) that makes this such a difficult problem? My programming experience tells me that the latter isn't the case, and the former should not be the case either if the original code isn't total c***. If the original code is total c***, then how can it be successful/working on so many other platforms?

    Numbers

Unfortunatly, we are the bottom of the pole in terms of the numbers compared to the other systems listed. So... we aren't included in the initial port. Mac port houses have to go to these companies to request a license to port it I believe. I doubt they look for porting directly to the Mac at the initial development stage.
