Apple named AdAge's 'Marketer of the Year'

Apple wins AdAge accolades

Apple has been named AdAge's : " Everywhere you look businesspeople and students parade their sleek titanium Powerbooks; computer geeks and tech pundits enthuse about the incredible speed of the new G5; and iPod users -- from hip teens to middle-aged suits -- nod to one another on the street as if they're in a secret club. (Apple expects to sell out its entire inventory of iPods this Christmas.) As if that were not enough, Apple is also striking a chord with music industry executives, potentially giving the troubled business a new lease on life, with its iTunes software that creates a new model for making money from downloadable songs.

    RIPE.

iPods are just RIPE to be a 10-15 minute live jam.

    Hi all,

STOP; turn on any iTunes song, and come back . . . "add a song to your post please" . . . . (read on)!

See if this catches on: I propose that all of our (now averaging twice-weekly / twice-daily) posts to iTunes / iPod related posts we include the artist, genre, or composer we're playing in iTunes.

Let people see what we're hearing . . . a tradition of music enjoyment . . . share your tune "in the moment" . . . ie at the end of a message, like this:

(SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN / FRANK SINATRA) -- like this at the top of your post!!!
