Virtual Ticker 6.0
MetaCommunications today announced major upgrades to its product lines for creative, publishing, and prepress organizations. The new Virtual Ticket 6.0 and Job Manager 4.0 releases will add native support for the Mac OS X environment and include dozens of new features and improvements. Virtual Ticket 6.0 is expected to ship in early 2004 with Job Manager 4.0 following shortly thereafter. "Although our products have been optimized and run very well in Mac OS X classic, we are excited to add native support for the Mac OS X platform."
Virtual Ticket is an integrated solution that enables organizations to centralize information, eliminate paper job tickets, manage production files, traffic and schedule jobs, notify and alert users to changes in production information, manage digital assets and automatically archive files. Job Manager is a cross-platform electronic job tracking, costing, estimating, and billing solution for the graphic arts industry. Job Manager lets organizations capture, track, and manage employee time and materials usage in real-time--allowing users to obtain instant job status, activity reports, and cost analysis; and generate invoices automatically
Virtual Ticket 6.0 and Job Manager 4.0 will be available directly from MetaCommunications or through certified partners worldwide. Virtual Ticket 6.0 and Job Manager 4.0 will be a paid upgrade with pricing based on the number of concurrent users licensed.
