Apple experiencing problems with iTunes Music Store

iTunes Music Store problems

Several MacNN readers note that Apple is experiencing problems with the this morning: "I logged onto the iTunes Music Store just now to see what new music had been posted, but all of the song/album/artist/etc. links throughout the store appear to be broken -- they link to one of three or so pages, and never the page you want. (For example, clicking on Counting Crows takes you to a No Doubt screen. Every single link on the store seems to be broken.) I don't know if they corrupted their database during the update or if they got hacked or what, but others are starting to notice the problem."

    Hacked?

Don't think so. (Otherwise, they'd be selling software, rather than music, for 99 cents).

    More likely, they've been Punk'd!

    ???

iTunes, Apple's latest "Big Thing", being totally farked isn't news? Apparently you have entirely different ideas about what an Apple-news website should be covering than I do.

    jars of g**

I keep trying to click on anything and all I get is jars of clay. Perfect, my hated music. Maybe its like the twilight zone, and everything you hate is all that's available anymore. How about you guys? Hate what you see?

    Re: odd

Maybe iTMS is trying to get you to listen to something besides Jessica Simpson and Britney Spears. Are you in the Zone?

    See what happens...

We never had problems with iTMS when it was just Apple users. But the minute we let the Windoze eggheads come to the party, someone has to go and punk it up. Jackasses. They are probably Bush supporters, too.

    Jessica and Britney?

Maybe iTwilightZone Music Store will inadvertently destroy Jessica and Britney. Maybe this is the work of Metallica.
